Comprehensive Maintenance and Servicing of 132 kV Transmission Line Project

The scope of work includes complete maintenance, inspection, and servicing of the 132 kV transmission line to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of the system. The work shall cover, but not be limited to, the following activities:

Services

  • Detailed patrolling of the entire 132 kV transmission line route.
  • Identification of damaged, weak, or abnormal components.
  • Checking for encroachments, clearance violations, and right-of-way (ROW) issues.
  • Inspection of towers for corrosion, damage, missing or loose nuts and bolts.
  • Tightening and replacement of damaged or missing nuts, bolts, and tower members.
  • Painting or anti-corrosion treatment, wherever required.
  • Visual inspection of conductors and earth wires for wear, damage, or strand breakage.
  • Repair of minor conductor damages and replacement of damaged earth wire sections if required.
  • Checking and rectification of conductor sag and tension, wherever necessary.
  • Inspection of all insulator strings (disc, polymer, etc.) for cracks, flash marks, or damage.
  • Replacement of damaged or defective insulators.
  • Cleaning of insulators where contamination or pollution is observed.
  • Inspection of clamps, jumpers, vibration dampers, spacers, and fittings.
  • Tightening and replacement of damaged or missing hardware.
  • Checking jumper connections and rectification of hot spots.
  • Tree trimming and removal to maintain statutory electrical clearances.
  • Removal of obstacles causing unsafe proximity to conductors.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory clearance norms.
  • Thermographic scanning (if required) to identify hot spots.
  • Rectification of identified hot spots to prevent failures.
  • Deployment of trained and experienced manpower.
  • Use of approved safety tools, PPEs, and equipment.
  • Compliance with all safety regulations and utility safety procedures during execution.
  • Joint inspection with client representatives, if required.
  • Submission of detailed maintenance and inspection reports.
  • Documentation of replaced materials and rectified defects.
  • Restoration of the site after completion of work.
  • Final inspection and clearance from the concerned authority.
  • Handing over of the line in healthy and operational condition.
